in search of a Project Engineering Manager to be a Solution Train
Engineer responsible for, but not limited to, the following: ---
Preparing for Solution Program Increment Planning--- Conducting
Solution Program Increment Planning--- Coordinating Large Solution
Development and Delivery--- Measuring and Improving Solution and
Release Train Deliveries--- Incorporation of strategic LM
initiatives into the architectural roadmapThis includes creation
and maintenance of the solution or program level roadmap,
facilitating backlog grooming and preparation for the release train
program planning, helping to identify major dependencies or
roadblocks between teams or trains, and facilitating issue and
conflict resolution between teams or trains among other things.The
NGI Solution Train Engineer will be a Lean-Agile leader responsible
for helping to guide the program to apply Agile principles through
a process of continuous improvement and helping to create an
environment that encourages leaning forward, experimentation,
learning from failure, and incorporating lessons learned into each
new increment.This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the
greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL Basic Qualifications:---
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent years of
relevant experience--- Experience with development processes and
one or more phases of the development life cycle (proposal, design,
qualification, requirements verification/validation, production,
and deployed system support)--- Program or project planning
experience for either technical teams or products--- Experience
executing in a leadership role on a program or project that
employed Agile methodologies for managing work or similar--- Active
DoD Interim Secret ClearanceDesired Skills:--- Significant
experience with Agile development of hardware, software, and or
firmware using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar--- Scaled
Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC) certification or
equivalent experience with Agile development of hardware, software,
and or firmware.--- Experience using JIRA or Agility/Version 1 or
similar tools for project planning and tracking--- Experience in
working closely with major subcontractors through all phases of the
lifecycle--- Working with customer representatives at the GS-14 and
O-5 levels or above and Lockheed Martin leadership at the Director
level or above--- Missile or space segment development experience
with one or more subsystems or fields--- Experience planning,
organizing, and executing complex multi-day meetings across
multiple locations and time zones--- Experience in organizing or
leading remote, distributed, complex multi-day meetings across
multiple locations and time zones--- Experience with leadership and
development to include a significant technical depth in at least
one subject area and additional experience in adjacent technical
fields--- Program Management experience with the ability to
articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to
subordinates, peers, management, and customers--- Experience using
and developing metrics in order to identify, troubleshoot and solve
complex problems involving cross-functional teamsLearn more about

employee selected for this position will work part of their work
schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be
discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin
supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
