location.Description:Seeking a driven, innovative, thought leader
to manage our Special Programs Remote Sensing Software Integrated
Product Team (IPT) that will drive common Software Factory
practices across software products within the program and champion
common processes across related programs. The Software IPT manager
will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of
embedded, real-time flight software products and ground command &
control and mission processing software products that integrate
into associate contractor provided frameworks. Responsibilities
include:--- Ensure Lifecycle Execution Processes, Lessons Learned
and Best Practices--- Engagement with Program Leaders on program,
issues, and milestones--- Involvement with Program Reviews,
Assessments and Issue Resolution--- Developing and driving a Talent
Strategy for the workforce--- Driving Staffing and Forecasts---
Staffing initiatives to include: staffing and destaffing processing
and placement, in coordination with leaders--- Manage span and
control and organizational alignment--- Completion of Engineering
Actions (training, ethics, initiatives, etc.)--- Overall
accountability for Atlas Perform--- Flow down of communication to
staff--- Involvement with new Program Proposals--- Drive process
implementation with objective of SW Factory certification---
Strategic: Build energized teams that are equipped to meet the
current and future needs of Special Programs & ensuring successful
execution of program activities.Basic Qualifications:- Experience
leading teams or departments responsible for the development of
complex software-based elements or systems- Experience with
software planning and execution throughout the requirements,
development, design, build, test, and integration phases of a
mid-size to large program- Experience leading a diverse team
showcasing strong team building, relationship building, and
personal acumen- Successful candidate must demonstrate Full
Spectrum Leadership experience including a commitment to the Full
Spectrum attributes of shaping the future, building effective
relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and
modeling personal excellence, integrity and accountability.Desired
Skills:-10+ years of technical and leadership experience- Minimum
BS degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
technical discipline- Experience with Spacecraft flight software
and ground-based command & control and mission processing software-
Demonstrated Experience leading teams who are working across
multiple locations and/or virtually- Experience transitioning and
leading agile development teams- Strong mentoring skills as
evidenced through active mentoring relationships- Cross LM Business
Unit and/or other Software Industry experience- Experience driving
standardization of standard software products and tools across an
enterprise- Proven experience as a conceptual thinker with the
ability to translate into action and results

Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed
onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that
provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range
from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may
be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other
