Indirect Procurement, Associate Commodity Manager We launched 18 months ago, our procurement transformation program called J-Procure.Come and join us! -J-Procure will enable a full end-to-end transformation that will bring new commercial dynamics with ease, creating fast access to innovative market solutions, and an enhanced buying experience by driving effectiveness, efficiencies, and optimized supplier dynamics, through automation and AI analytics. It also enables access to new and additional procurement resources, as well as, new category and market expertise. About the Position:As part of Global Indirect Sourcing organization, the commodity lead will handle the Professional Services and Telecom, IT HW and other procurement requirements on business need basis. The scope of responsibilities will include the launch of a tactical spend management program.Contribute as a key resource to deliver elite performance; in achieving extraordinary savings, implementing best-in-class policies & procedures and driving deep engagements and category strategies across Juniper's business groups.Use your past skills, experience, and success in implementing strategic sourcing strategies to enhance the supplier relationships & performance and foster a deeper value of Procurement to the business groups via stronger supplier rationalization and proven experience. Partner with senior leaders and be the face of Procurement to provide services that are aligned to the company's goalsHave a flair for data & enable data driven decisions in everything you do.Responsibilities:Execute contracts and master agreements with full end-to-end responsibilities of negotiations, redlining, and close in coordination with legal, InfoSec, compliance etc as may be the caseEnsure contract negotiations are inclusive of company-wide usageGather global requirements and translate them into future requirements and use for supplier negotiation.To effectively collaborate and influence various internal customers, such as but not limited to IT, HR, Marketing, Professional Services Develop early engagement model with key category internal customers.Facilitate and conduct supplier business review meetingsResponsible for overall supplier management of assigned categories Develop and own the category strategies under your managementDrive purchasing and supplier sourcing decisions towards lowest 'total cost of ownership"; encompassing price, risk, service levels, payment terms, incentives/penalties, change management, etc ---Drive end-to-end RFPs in compliance with Procurement process and procedures; formulate scoring matrices and structure, analyze proposals, negotiate price/delivery, lead cross functional team through a concise, objective, decision making processIdentify and meet price, performance, cost savings requirementsTranslate business issues and operational issues into functional plans.Able to effectively drive and lead meetings.Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to respond to shifting prioritiesGather, analyze and present data; strong, effective analytics abilities with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau etc.,Ability to work independently in a dynamic, complex, operations environmentBenchmarking & be in the know of all emerging trendsMinimum Qualifications: B.A./B.S. from an accredited college/ university.Proven ability to present and communicate agendas, strategy, and action plans across organization and across all levels within a company.Minimum 10 years' experience of overall industry experience with specific sourcing, contract management, operations experience. You can create clarity and generate energy for an entire organization, with a deep commitment to Diversity, and Equity (DEI).You are excited by driving cross-functional impact, interacting with suppliers, stakeholders, and supporting core business requirements.You have unparalleled organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing projects and priorities at any given time.Proven ability to effectively work with multi-cultural teams and geographiesDemonstrated a very proactive work ethic, dedicatedDesire to achieve and deliver the best customer experience and exceed their financial/sourcing needs.Excellent communication and presentation skills, English written and spoken required, other language a plusOther Information:Location: US, California, Texas, Northeast.
