Together, let's advance the world of minimally invasive care. -Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:Contribute broadly to the global tax operations function of a publicly traded multinational company.The successful candidate must excel in a high-energy, focused, small-team environment, be able to communicate effectively with cross functional teams, and have a commitment to deliver high quality results. The ideal candidate must have a breadth of in-house and/or advisory experience in serving a multinational corporation and have expert knowledge in tax technical areas (ASC740, Subchapter C, US international tax, M&A) with the ability to apply such knowledge in reporting transactions on tax provision and tax return.Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for global income tax provision, maintaining SOX controls to effectively mitigate risk, and continuously optimizing the quarterly and annual tax close processPerform tax and GAAP technical review and research of complex tax issues and communicate effectively to leadership and cross-functional teamsMonitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation and FASB guidance and their implications to tax provision and complianceSupport the initiatives in scaling the tax operation function, which includes people development, process and workpaper simplification and standardization, and effective use of data and technologyPartner with finance and other cross functional teams as well as within tax on new and ongoing global business initiatives to advise on US income tax risks, opportunities, and consequencesEnsure adequate support and documentation and preparedness for future tax auditsPerform tax analytics to provide insight to tax and finance leadership teamOversee day-to-day operations relating to U.S. and International tax return preparation and filingBuild collaborative relationships across the Finance OrganizationQualificationsSkill/Job Requirements:In order to perform the responsibilities of this position, the individual must have:12+ years of combined large scale public accounting and industry experienceDemonstrated extensive corporate tax knowledge.Solid general accounting and income tax accounting (ASC740) knowledgeAble to identify issues, analyze and interpret relevant tax laws and accounting rules when handling complex subject mattersDetailed oriented and strong analytical skillsExcellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to leverage, coach and motivate talent to inspire action and achieve resultsExcellent project management, written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in accounting or Finance; MST/CPA preferredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19. - Details can vary by role.Intuitive is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
