Job Description Primary Function of Position: Intuitive Surgical designs and manufactures highly complex surgical platforms which including, cameras, instruments, and accessories for use in surgery. We are looking for an individual to help manage the design process, planning and implementation of the designs associated with the development of these products. Experienced with all phases of the design and development lifecycle including resourcing, planning, idea generation, concept development, testing, production, and implementation. You measure your success by the success of the team you support. The overall sustainability, efficiency and visibility of the team is of utmost importance. You take an unbiased approach that ensures balance and rigidity of the team. This position will report into the Director of IxD for Da Vinci Systems. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of multiple projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within capacity
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
    • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Manage the relationship with relevant stakeholders
    • Ensure proper steps are taken to adhere to the design and development process
    • Leading design reviews, planning sessions and phased gate meetings
    • Work closely with the project management organization to optimize efficiency for the team Project Manager Requirements: Proven working experience in project management, and relevant tools
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Solid organizational skills with an attention to detail
      • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe and Microsoft products
      • Strong working knowledge of the Agile development process
        • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
        • Negotiating consensus, aligning activities and problem solving across different functions
        • Managing parallel programs consisting of different cross-functional core teams
        • Contributing to prioritization decisions using data and analysis from current and past projects Qualifications Project Manager Requirements:
          • Proven working experience in project management, and relevant tools
          • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
          • Solid organizational skills with an attention to detail
          • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe and Microsoft products
          • Strong working knowledge of the Agile development process
