Join us in changing the way the world works.The Strategic Sourcing Manager role requires partnership with the business to strategically manage spend and opportunities for the assigned categories. The Strategic Sourcing Manager -will lead cross-functional teams to execute the Sourcing and supplier strategy for Corporate Services and Technology categories.The Strategic Sourcing Manager will manage numerous categories across Corporate Services and Technology globally, have accountability to delivery against department and functional goals. You will need a strong sense of urgency in a fast & dynamic environment. - This role requires a customer orientation with emphasis on strong analysis, category expertise, and a passion for driving tangible values. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of ownership to execute with excellence, foster positive relationships with internal & external parties.Responsibilities:Effectively communicate the vision of Strategic Sourcing and educate internal stakeholders at all levels.Ability to articulate methods of engagement and effectively guide internal stakeholders to enable stewardship & compliance.Ability to think both strategically and tactically; ideal candidate will manage category area from high-level definition to execution. Ability to successfully take a project from start to finish, on time and with the plan scope. Identify and resolve potential roadblocks.Act as a commercial advisor to internal stakeholders with regards to market insights, supplier selection and commercial terms, and risk mitigation.Partner with our Global MSP to drive and coordinate improvements and efficiencies. Solid analytical and reporting skills to identify opportunities across several KPIs and reports.Analyze, manage, and drive strategy of LinkedIn's tail spending within Corporate Services.Strong contracting skills shown through knowledge of legal playbooks, ability to develop scalable and flexible commercial models to support growth and to deliver values.Communicates effectively and frequently, actively seek win-win values for all parties.Propose and drive opportunities for optimal value through analysis of various data points to provide recommendations, and create actionable strategiesExplores and evaluates sourcing choices through Category Strategy Development & Execution to meet the needs of the Business.Ability to learn and follow the Source-to-Pay process and other internal tools.Lead & facilitate complex sourcing life cycle including industry insight, RFX, negotiation, SOW workshop, data privacy, contracting to deliver commercial model with clear SLA metrics, governance structure including escalation & performance remedies, etc.Drives cross-functional negotiation teams, influences internal stakeholders in the decision-making process to drive values.Ability to develop Supplier Strategy, transform Supplier Relationships from transactional engagements to strategic partnership with intent to enhance enterprise-wide value.Be a champion for change that can act decisively to drive decisions, while demonstrating agility to support the evolution of business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:7 + years experience in purchasing/sourcing related background. - -3 + years experience in managing multiple category areas and effectively procuring goods/services in a fast-paced work environment is required. -5 + years experience in different categories including Financial Services, Consulting Services, Legal Services, Engineering & IT Services, Sales Services, and Software / Licenses negotiation. -Preferred Qualifications:BA/BS degree in business or other related field. -Experience in the competitive bidding, category strategy development & execution, data analytic, SOW development, and internal stakeholder collaboration.Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment with global internal stakeholders in different time zones.Excellent communication, analytical, leadership and negotiating skills#LI-HYBRIDAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity StatementLinkedIn is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
