Together, let's advance the world of minimally invasive care.Our Team:You will be working on our Single Port (SP) platform, which represents the next generation of robotic-assisted surgical technology. The newest addition to the daVinci Surgical System family, SP takes minimally invasive surgery to a new echelon, enabling complex surgeries to be completed using only one incision; and for some applications, no incisions. Though smaller in size, the SP Product Management team is experienced, passionate, and committed to advancing new technologies in service of better patient outcomes.Your Role:Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, you will be accountable for leading the SP Accessories and Reprocessing programs across the entire product lifecycle. Specifically, you will own the product definition for current and future versions of SP Accessories, you will define the product pillars, and you will own voice-of-customer feedback. Defining the SP reprocessing strategy will provide an opportunity for whitespace, strategic thinking and subsequent execution to enter new markets with unique regulatory and reprocessing requirements. Finally, you will be tasked with executing complex programs by interfacing with multiple cross-functional teams including: Product Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Clinical Development Engineering and Advanced Product Development.Your Responsibilities:Lead projects through the design process including developing product and market requirements, as well as facilitating tradeoff discussions with design teams while keeping the needs of the customer and the business in mindCatalog user needs, product feedback, and other primary market research to champion long-term product roadmaps defined by providing clinical, operational, and economic value to customersDefine product requirements, claims and pillars; collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams in multiple regions to create go-to-market plans and rollout strategies that will enable successful launchesCraft and refine key value propositions and product positioning in support of building the product indications for use and training materialsBe the subject matter expert for your product and its competitors, providing expertise to regional sales and marketing teams, surgeons, hospital administrators and OR staffSkill/Job Requirements:5+ years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is desirableMinimum 2 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or a related discipline required with a history of defining and launching successful products and programs in a life sciences company. Experience with surgical devices and/or OR desired.History of developing strong commercial and KOL partnerships to drive product requirements and VOC feedbackAbility to take complex concepts and simplify their application to be understood across multiple audiences and deliver messaging in front of senior leadershipGreat teamwork skills with a proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. This includes the ability to work well in bridging communication between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customers.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; international travel will be requiredDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
