Key Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced VP of Global Data Strategy with proven skills as a global leader to lead our internal and external data strategy. Expertise in data privacy regulations and effectively translate them into data architecture requirements allowing the organization to utilize the data while adhering to laws and regulations This position will lead privacy regulations into requirements and define how we structure our data warehouse, including data classification, data interfaces, data validation, data access and single source of truth in our data architecture. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with experience in commercializing data driven products in the healthcare environment and enable the internal organization to make data driven decision. It is also important that she or he is able to represent and lead the data management across other functions engaging with different levels of the organization. The People you will work with You will be part of a rapidly growing business within Company responsible for assessing current platform capabilities against current and future digital needs, resulting in a future state of data management and costumer solutions. You will report directly to our Chief Digital Officer having exposure to senior executives and Chief Officers around the globe. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Optimize our process for dealing with global data privacy laws and customer concerns. This involves how we intake, manage and make data accessible to products and internal use.
  • Establish an overall data exchange architecture for the organization that allows us to effectively manage our data assets at scale. -
  • Develop and lead governance around our data landscape to ensure we adhere to the applicable laws, use-rights we have obtained from customers or 3rd parties and that we continuously drive quality into the data sets we collect. -
  • Enable the organization to maximize the benefit from the data assets we have in helping move the business forward.
  • Ability to inspire and build effective relationships with C-suite, peers, and ability to attract and retain a data strategy team by leading with inclusion and diversity that will motivate people to produce their best work.
  • Effectively lead and grow our data science capabilities to tackle key business challenges and ensure we have the right data sets, and the right data quality to effectively inform the business.
  • Implement data management and lifecycle standards with Product, Platform, and Data Science teams
  • Define and execute a data classification process that can be maintained and utilized to implement proper security controls
  • Lead the execution of the field data acquisition strategy that is aligned with product, service and training roadmaps
  • Evaluate and manage 3rd party data sources for internal business needs and to support our digital solutions
  • Support key areas in the organization with world class data science to extract actionable insights from the data lake
  • Evangelize and harmonize non-product data science throughout the organization Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of a Bachelor or Masters' Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
    • Minimum -10 years' experience in management, strategy, analytics, business or related capacities
    • Proven capability building a data organization preferably within the field of healthcare
    • Experience in working with senior leaders on developing high level strategies for the business
    • Experience working on global development efforts effectively leading virtual technical teams.
