The LinkedIn Social Marketing team is looking for a Senior Social Manager to oversee our Off-Platform Social Channels. Your work will inspire professionals to take the next step in their careers, gain new skills, and grow professionally. By driving professional conversations every day, you will move the cultural conversation around the future of work, jobs, careers, and more. You will use your experience as a creative storyteller, strategic thinker, and socially minded thought-leader to be a vocal advocate for members while driving innovation in our social content strategies. As a manager, your passion for nurturing and developing talent will lead a team of strategic social marketers, content creators, and community managers to deliver their best work and transform their careers. The successful candidate will be tenacious and open, creative and analytical, able to think at scale and the individual level. The right person thrives working cross functionally, is passionate about culture and trend spotting, and is energized by quick paced thinking and long term planning.

Role Responsibilities:

Global Content Strategy

  • Channel & Member Experience Strategy: Drive the content creation, curation, and amplification strategy for our global Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to meet Brand goals and optimize member experience. Drive brand relevance through creating, curating, and programming engaging content our professional audience will love.
  • Real Time Opportunities: Identify and create agile, real-time content moments that lean into culture to drive the professional conversation forward and insert LinkedIn into the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, and Corporate Communications teams to help bring their content and initiatives to market while maintaining a healthy content calendar mix.
  • Connect the dots across the business to help address member needs and opportunities as they arise and escalate issues that need a response.Global Audience Strategy
    • Audience Health & Growth: Champion the community by ensuring our content and engagement reflects the needs of our diverse, active community. Grow the global audience of our LinkedIn Company Page.
    • Community Management: Lead off-platform Community Management strategy. Build and execute community management strategies and playbooks for owned content and earned opportunities.
    • New Channel Development: Develop playbooks to test and learn on new platforms to meet our audience where they are and drive brand relevance.Insights & Innovation
      • Innovation: Innovate around the edges to bring new ideas to the table that have measurable impact.
      • Social Data & Insights: Work with social marketing team, paid/reporting social lead, and partner agencies to develop appropriate KPIs, monitor performance, optimize content and distribution in real time, analyze social data, and turn insights into action.
      • Stay current on the latest trends in social media, social behaviors, and audience behaviors on LinkedIn to leverage the brand & product to stay relevant with professionalsTeam & Talent
        • Team Management: Manage a team of content creators and community managers to deliver their best work and grow their careers
        • Agency Management: Manage agency partners to deliver innovative and culture-setting concepts and creative that sets the standard for professional conversationsQualifications

          Basic Qualifications:
          • 10+ years experience working in marketing
          • 6+ years experience working for a tech, agency, or B2C brand as a social marketer
          • 2+ years experience as a people managerPreferred Qualifications:
            • Experience managing LinkedIn presence on behalf of Brand strongly preferred
            • Experience in product or growth marketing a plus
            • Experience with Sprinklr platform a plus
            • Must be able to work at a quick pace and multi-task efficientlyAdditional Information
