About this Position Title: Senior Director - Engineering Operations Location: North America, United States Riverbed is actively seeking a Sr. Director for Engineering Operations. This position reports to the Head of Engineering and manages our engineering investment portfolio in alignment with our business needs. This role also keeps an eye toward strategic planning to ensure development objectives are met within time and budget constraints.-- Key Responsibilities:
                • Manage engineering operations across multiple teams, products and geographic locations
                • Develop and implement engineering improvement processes
                • Collaborate consistently with lateral stakeholders in product management and customer success
                • Drive operational change to improve efficiency
                • Communicate recommendations and concerns effectively with upper management
                • Coordination & communication with Stake holders, Engineering Partners at both USA and India
                • Interfacing with Customers, System Engineers, Support Org and Product Management teams Qualifications:
                  • BS/MS degree in CS/CE/EE/ with 15+ years of experience managing engineering operations and/or directing engineering organizations
                  • Experience in managing product portfolios across different geographical regions
                  • Effective executive-level presence and ability to communicate at C-level
                  • Track record of implementing and managing successful engineering projects and processes
                  • Able to connect with Technology and with People equally and get things done
                  • Good understanding of QA, Automation, and Dev processes including Release processes
                  • Strong communication (Written and Oral), coordination and collaboration skills
                  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
                  • Exceptional analytical and planning skills
                  • Planning, Scheduling, Tracking and status reporting of deliverables and milestones
