Technical Program Manager, Hardware Operations Machine
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or
Mathematics or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in software and/or hardware
development/integration and technical program management.
- Experience in delivering solutions and completing
hardware/software or infrastructure projects in data center
- Experience supporting or driving programs in a technical
organization. Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in software programming, scripting and ability to
develop and validate complex models for quantifying and improving
machine fleet health.
- Ability to identify organizational needs, establish priorities,
work with minimal guidance, drive results through informal
authority, serve as a trusted consultant to customers and partners.

Technical Program Manager, you will drive sustaining and
maintenance globally across Hardware Operations
(machines/networks/data security) deployment at Google's data
centers.Our team optimizes the operation and availability of
Google's fleet of machines across our data centers. This includes
millions of compute, machine learning, and storage machines that
serve Google services to all our users. We optimize how we operate,
repair, and maintain Google's hardware infrastructure by balancing
availability and efficiency, and providing the right service levels
to our customers. We develop and execute on technical and
operational programs at a global level that scale and grow Google's
capability to serve the next billion users. Behind everything our
users see online is the architecture built by the Technical
Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and
maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of
Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible.

- Lead several technical and operational programs for ---hardware
fleet management including several Google Cloud and machine
learning platforms, set priorities for ---various cross-functional
partners, ---and lead cross-functional teams to ---execute on
- Work closely with ---various Product Areas (PAs), Site
Reliability Engineers (SREs), Product Area Research Managers
(PARMs) and distill their machine fleet needs and execute them
cross-functionally in an efficient and scalable fashion.
- Collaborate with other fleet maintenance Technical Program
Managers, spread geographically, in successfully executing fleet
scalability and repair process standardization.
- Provide project management, cross-functional coordination,
---manage release schedules, milestones, stakeholders, and
inter/intra team communications.
- Execute operational service level agreements/objectives
(SLA/SLO) by partnering with data centers, data center software
(DCSW) teams, supply chain, logistics, operational decision support
(ODS), and fleet deployment and planning organizations. Location
