DevOps:Job Description Seeking a senior software engineer with extensive experience in implementing, maintaining and managing native, public / hybrid cloud-based DevOps and DevSecOps pipelinesResponsibilities ------- Collaborate with other core services team members to define roadmap, write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, design, and build solutions ------- Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management------- Test implemented designs------- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning------- Handle code deployments in all environments------- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve------- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations------- Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery------- Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages------- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards------- Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects------- Manage CI and CD tools with team------- Document and design various processes; update existing processes------- Improve infrastructure development and application development------- Follow all best practices and procedures as established by company ------- Hands-on experience with Docker ------- Expert level experience with Linux ------- Expert level experience with Jenkins ------- Define, benchmark, monitor & manage the quality, performance, robustness, and scalability parameters of the applications implemented ------- Automate the development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker containers) Required Skills and Experience ------- Expertise in automation and scripting language like Python is a must------- Experience in both continuous integration & continuous delivery tools------- knowledge of Git, Jenkins a must------- Expertise with at least one CM tool like Chef, Puppet, Ansible or SaltStack------- Experience with reporting tools like Splunk------- Knowledge of Docker------- Shell & Python Scripting------- Solid experience with Build tools like Maven or Basel------- Up to date on the OWASP guidelines------- Implementation knowledge of various static code analysis tools------- Experience automating SAST & DAST in the development cycle------- Source repository expertise: GitHub / Git, Jenkins------- Repository: Artifactory, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform------- APMs like Dynatrace, AppDynamics------- Mertics: Prometheus------- Dashboard: Grafana------- Cloud Platforms: AWS, OpenStack, Azure, GCP - provided by Dice DevOps Engineer
