Job Description Job Description Aerotek is hiring a Journeyman Electrician in New Castle County, DE! We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with a Journeyman License to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Install and configure electrical systems and machinery according to technical specifications and blueprints. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in manufacturing equipment using advanced testing tools and techniques. Ensure all electrical work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety policies. Work closely with production teams to ensure electrical systems support manufacturing processes effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on electrical systems. Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and learning. Essential Skills Valid Journeyman Electrician License. Experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work. Strong understanding of electrical systems, machinery, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PLCs, conduit bending, and pneumatics.
