Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Staff Autonomy Engineer for
their Avionics and Onboard Autonomy (AOA) Mission Management System
(MMS) Flight Path Management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop flight software per DO-178C and its supplements for fully
autonomous operations of the aircraft
Support peer Autonomy Engineers, Software Engineers, Systems
Engineers, and other disciplines
Help define software processes and tools
Required Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace
Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline
Experience with DO-178C and its supplements in aerospace
projects
Hands-on experience with autonomy software design, development, and
integration
10+ years of software development experience
Proven ability to manage tasks and projects involving peers across
multiple disciplines
