  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with device characterization, running production test diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with quality including integrated circuit qualification, production release, test time reduction, and yield improvement.
    Preferred qualifications:
    • 10 years of experience in Industry VLSI technologies, Product and Test Engineering, and Semiconductor processing.
    • Familiar with process technology, and how it relates to design and testing Data analysis: wafer sort and final test.
    • Familiar with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) test platforms, Advantest 93K SOC test system.
    • Familiar with advanced packaging such as 2.5d and InFo.
    • Familiar with Design for Test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST.
    • Familiar with SERDES, PCIe, DDR and Mixed-Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, and their performance measurements.
      About the jobThe Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. As a Product and Test Manufacturing Engineer, you will evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools, and procedures behind Google search technology. When suppliers build parts for our infrastructure, you will ensure manufacturing processes are introduced properly into high volume production.

      In this role, you will also collaborate with Commodity Managers, Design Engineers, Quality Engineers, and also face suppliers, foundries/OSAT to establish Google infrastructure needs, product specifications, and make sure we maximize multi-sourcing for each component. You will work on defining System Level Testing requirements for our ASICs and CPUs. You'll ensure the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.       Responsibilities
      • Maintain and sustain yield and test program optimization. Generate specifications to release from NPI to production, high volume manufacturing release to Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly, and Test.
        Troubleshoot on different failure mode and test coverage improvement on Automatic test equipment and System Level Test.
        • Manage Automatic test equipmenttest program development on UFLEX, 93K, or other Automatic test equipment platforms.
        • Manage integrated circuitProduct bring-up, verification, and characterization on Automatic test equipmentNPI production program release. Troubleshoot on different failure mode and test coverage improvement on Automatic test equipment.
        • Drive Automatic test equipmentLoadboard or Probe card design for NPI on UFLEX, 93K, or other Automatic test equipmentplatforms.
