Job Description and Requirements


The job functions are for designing, developing, troubleshooting, or debugging mask synthesis software programs, which include the tools for lithography modeling, optical proximity correction, inverse lithography, and design optimization for lithography. Develop or optimize state of the art machine learning and deep learning algorithms for the mask synthesis programs. Develop appropriate features for the training of machine learning or deep learning models, from the lithography data including target pattern images, mask 2D/3D pattern images, wafer resist 2D/3D images, and wafer etch 2D/3D images. Train machine learning and deep learning models using the features of lithography data. Deploy trained machine learning or deep learning models for the applications in mask synthesis software tools. Experience and expertise in programming language and machine learning libraries, which include Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Has exceptional desires to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good investigation and problem-solving skills. Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool development are required. Possesses a solid understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of one other related area. Resolves issues in creative ways. Exercises separate judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Executes projects from start to completion. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Resolves and develops recommendations to solutions. Works on team-inspired or task-oriented projects. May guide more junior peers with aspects of their job. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $97,000-$169,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
