Overview:The HPVC team at U Power is responsible for designing and architecting the high performance central computing system for next generation vehicles with fully autonomous driving capabilities and developing core components from the ground up.
U Power is looking for a Sr. BSP Engineer to help us design, coordinate, and implement Kernel features for our high-performance vehicle computers (HPVC).
As a Sr. BSP Engineer you will;--- Work closely with electrical engineering, systems engineering, and external partners to develop and port OS kernel to in-vehicle computers--- Coordinate and perform the designing, implementing, debugging, testing, and profiling of platform software.
This is an onsite positionThis position is open for contract or FTE

Qualifications:--- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent--- 5+ years of Embedded Linux Development Experience.--- Experience in Linux Kernel Development--- Experience in Embedded Development in Assembly, C, C++--- Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems--- Experience with Linux kernel performance tuning and optimization--- Experience in initial board bring up on new hardware, preferably for ARM-based processors--- Experience in Customization bootloader and Linux operating system for embedded platforms--- Hands on software and hardware testing and debugging experience--- Experience with Oscilloscopes, Protocol Analyzer (PCIe, Ethernet, GMSL), Signal/Pattern Generators

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
