Applications Engineer, II

Master's Degree in Engineering. You should be proficient with HDL (Verilog/VHDL), Linux and have a strong FPGA background including experience with FPGA implementation. Experience using common lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is a plus. Knowledge of ASIC prototyping and emulation techniques and technologies is beneficial. Understanding of FPGA technologies like Xilinx or Altera will be a significant plus and knowledge of scripting/programming skills (TCL/Python, C/C++) is strongly preferred.Strong communication skills are required.This person should independently resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis and customarily exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. This person determines and develops approaches to solutions and can work both independently and collaboratively.Business Area Description

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $81,000 - $141,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
