of minimally invasive care. -Job DescriptionThe Product Labeling &
Packaging Operations Engineer is a key member of the team
responsible for multiple deliverables supporting moderate to large
scale Global Labeling & Packaging Operations project and programs.
The individual will work together with multiple cross-functional
team members to support technical and business initiatives relating
to packaging and labeling components, equipment, data, and
software.The candidate should have previous experience working on
new product launches, process improvements, equipment
qualifications, and software validations. The ideal candidate has a
strong engineering background with hands-on experience and
familiarity with problem solving, validation, and quality system
methodologies.Experience with packaging and labeling in a global
medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Participate and may lead engineering projects and activities.
Activities range from Design for Manufacturing, Verification &
Validation, Packaging and labeling equipment implementation &
support, Data analytics, and Quality & Compliance assignments.
- Run structured technical problem-solving investigations with
team and utilize data driven analysis to provide recommendations
and solutions to achieve improvements to consistency of labeling
and packaging processes.
- Evaluate, identify improvements and solutions by utilizing data
driven methods to maintain and build a library of technical
solutions. Monitor metrics and analyze data for trends and
collaborate with teams to improve.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions for improving the
utilization and efficiency of operators, equipment and/or physical
space. Lead projects that will result in improved costs and/or
enhanced quality.
- Responsible for Verification, Validations, and Qualifications
relating to packaging and labeling processes.
- Support Manufacturing and Quality initiatives, projects, and
issues across business units.
- Upon request, perform strategic analysis and present findings
effectively to various levels of management. This may include
improved technical models for new or sustaining product packaging
and labeling.
- Manage metrics and dashboards to measure and validate that
projects are effective and align with goals.
- Contribute to development and/or author documentation and
drawings for internal business practices.
- May build simple reports for analysis and maintain existing
reports or dashboards as required.
- May research and develop new medical device packaging and
labeling technologies, materials and tools.QualificationsSkills,
Experience, Education, & Training:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology or
similar or equivalent blend of work and certification experience.

- 2+ years professional history working in a medical device
industry or equivalent experiences.
- Experience working in a structured global business environment
with multiple disciplines such as regulatory, manufacturing,
quality, information technology, and logistics.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant technical information to
various members of the organization.
- Ability to communicate, verbally and written, to internal and
external customers.
- Self-starter who can independently thrive in a team environment
to prioritize tasks and resolve problems.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal, communication, and
analytical skills.
- Talented engineer with experience leading and solving problems
with a variety of teams.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and
troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Enthusiastic individual with a passion to learn and develop
technical and business skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Visio, Powerpoint, Project, Excel,
Statistics, or similar.
- Ability to use Tableau, JMP, or similar data analytics and
visualization
- Familiar with SAP, Agile or similar software
- Familiar with Packaging & Labeling equipment software
(Automated machinery, Labeling software, etc)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to
