If you are a highly energized, self-sufficient, disciplined professional with a strong PASSION for technology to work in an agile team of like-minded highly skilled and talented individuals, please apply today!You are responsible forCreating functional solution architecture, Product Requirement Document and collaborating with the engineering and product team to identify and design the technical solution.Walkthrough solutions developed with various stakeholders and drive closuresUnderstanding business requirements and developing solutions and low-level technical designs accordinglyTroubleshooting complex issues and ensuring resolutionDesign and develop innovative, customized features and modules, and optimize Android systems at the framework layer.Develop & customize Android Services and Applications that are compatible with multiple Android versions and devices.Port and integrate Android Security PatchesDesign and implement software for Clover Device Platform and Security requirements to production ---Optimize system efficiencies, stabilities and scalabilitiesCollaborate - with Application engineersQualificationsBS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalentMust have 10+ years of total work experience with strong focus of architecture and design of Android Devices and PlatformMust have 5+ years experience with Android Application development using - Android SDK, Kotlin or JavaMust have 3+ years of experience with C programming on embedded Linux platforms.Excellent communication and interfacing skillsGood working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit etc.Working experience in an Agile environmentAbility to troubleshoot and analyze system level problems such as deadlocks and crashes.Experienced in system architecture design and code reviewsUnderstanding of security protocols, encryption/decryption technologies, PKI, HSM, certificates management.Preferred QualificationsExperience in developing - Android Framework and Hardware Abstraction Layer( HAL)Experience in developing low level embedded software components related to USB, Camera, Charging and Display systems.Experience in handling PCI/PTS, P2PE, PCI/PIN and PCI/DSS will be an added advantage.Who We Are:Every day, Clover devices handle the core credit card and point-of-sale processing for hundreds of thousands of merchants.
