Qualifications:--- Materials or process related background and/or field of study--- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and/or specifications and providing guidance to design, stress, and manufacturing engineers--- Familiar with a variety of materials and process engineering disciplines including adhesives, bonding, soldering, wires/cabling, welding, metallurgy and heat treatments, cleaning, failure analysis and manufacturing operations--- Knowledge of Materials and Processes for product development, improvement, design, application and production--- Strong understanding of material properties definitions --- Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsDesired Skills:--- Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)--- Hands-on experience with soldering, welding, and brazing--- Strong understanding of metallurgy and heat treating--- Experience with or desire to learn cable and harness materials and processes--- US Citizenship
