Application Support Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Support Engineer
with our client in their Sunnyvale, CA location. This is a 12 month
+ contract and remote position.
The Application Support Engineer is responsible to provide
successful implementation and management of SaaS services
(applications) in the production environments and Provide Level III
support to ensure the service meets the quality, security and
compliance standards, providing the documentation for the ongoing
support and maintenance of the systems.
Poses exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, oral and

Responsible for owning a specific production problem and provide
active coordination between various groups including internal and
external vendor support groups in resolving a specific problem.
Determine configuration, integration and operational requirements
for Application / Business team.
Develop, document, and implement runbooks, capabilities, and
techniques for Incident resolution.
Drives team mission and solutions that work towards increased
proactivity and efficiency for the organization.
Coordinate and engage with security intelligence team to get
application architecture reviewed and approved.
Collaborate with the security intelligence team by providing
samples of integrations from the customer's environment.
2+ years' experience.
Experience with Windows, Unix, PL-SQL or the equivalent in
experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
Experience working with OKTA, Jira and or other Enterprise
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science or the
equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
At least 1 year experience in Application support working in a
globally distributed team is preferred.
Good experience with ITIL, BMC Remedy or Service Now an
