Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide specialized Pre-K intake assessment services at an
elementary school setting in San Mateo, CA. This on-site contract
position runs through June 3, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek
dedicated solely to early childhood speech-language evaluations.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake
assessments for incoming students. Collaborate with
multi-disciplinary teams to support early intervention planning.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments and progress.
Communicate effectively with educators, families, and
administrators regarding student needs. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). Clear or
Professional Speech Services Credential from the California
Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is preferred but not
mandatory. Prior experience in school-based SLP roles with a focus
on early childhood is highly valued. Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities is a strong plus.
Certified Speech-Language Pathologists with the Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Candidates completing Clinical
Fellowships (CFs) will not be considered. Location: Position is
based in San Mateo, CA, with on-site duties exclusively. Remote
