Job Title: Estimator Location: Modesto, CA - Ability to commute and visit sites as needed in the area Salary: $120k - $170k DOE, Full Benefits Requirements: 5 Years of Estimating experience in Heavy Civil Construction; project values up to $30M, Paving, grading, Caltrans experience, Primavera/P6, MS Office/Project, Bluebeam, Take-Off We are California's premier heavy civil paving, grading, underground, and infrastructure firms. We specialize in complex road and freeway projects, including paving, grading, sanitary, storm, and water work. If you're an experienced Estimator with a background in civil engineering work, please read on! What you will be doing: You will play a crucial role in the preparation of bid proposals, ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of our bids. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety standards. Needs: - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, strongly desired - 5 years as an Estimator within Civil Construction Projects - Familiarity with Caltrans, BART, Underground, Paving, Grading projects - AGTEK, Bluebeam, Take-Off, Primavera/P6, HCSS/Heavy Bid - Construction Software proficiency - Ability to travel to job sites as needed in the area - RFI submittal knowledge, Agency familiarity, Contractors, etc. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
