Position: The Senior Program Manager is responsible for planning
and execution of complex cross-functional projects associated with
driving scalability in Indirect Procurement. Scaling the Indirect
Procurement organization will provide the many of Intuitive's
organizations with faster access to high-quality goods and services
at lower costs. Projects will be global in nature and will span a
broad range from implementation of new software systems and global
program expansion.Roles and Responsibilities: Develops and
continuously updates the end-to-end process strategy to ensure
Source to Pay (S2P) alignment with overall business and functional
objectives; improves visibility across the end-to-end S2P
processDrives cross-functional alignment on procurement strategies,
goals, resources and timelines. Cross-functional teams include
Contract,Procurement Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Travel,
Finance, IT,Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal and other
Business Units.Works with Finance and Indirect Procurement team
leaders to develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to
monitor performance and highlight opportunities for leverage and
process improvement; provide inputs for budgets/forecasts and
monitor performance to budgetsOversees and drives the execution of
strategic initiatives developed by the S2P Governance Team
including process improvements and technology
implementations;Facilitates collaboration and alignment across
multiple functional entities supporting the S2P processProvides a
single point of communication for any constraints, conflicts and
other challenges within S2P processesDrives standardization of S2P
processes, policies, procedures and job descriptions to ensure
optimal utilization of resourcesReduces costs by prioritizing and
rationalizing process improvement initiativesWorks
cross-functionally to develop roadmaps for major transformation and
organizational change management - stakeholder analysis,
communication plans, Training material and end user training,
solution adoptionDrives business requirements, coordinates testing
with business users; drives update of DOPs/SOPs/work
instructionsSchedules and leads regular meetings and ad hoc
meetings needed to drive S2P improvements; provides clear
communication to the organization on project status, critical path,
as well as potential areas of riskEnsures compliance to internal
business and quality systems and external regulatory
standardsQualificationsSkill/Job Requirements: Strong communication
and presentation skillsComfortable with all aspects of Indirect
Procurement Contract Lifecycle Management, Strategic Sourcing and
Source to Pay operations.Willing to go the extra mile with a strong
work ethic; self-directed and resourceful with the ability to deal
with conflict and drive to solutionProven ability to lead,
influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a
cross functional team environmentAbility to handle ambiguity
effectively and oversee multiple projects at onceDemonstrated
ability to synthesize data, set actionable goals and drive metrics
and executionMinimum 8 years of experience involved in leading
major cross-functional projectsMedical device experience
desiredExperience with supervising people desiredCertification in
project management (PMP) desiredMinimum BS or equivalent work
