Minimum qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent
practical experience. * 2 years experience in equity research,
investor relations, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or
a related investment function. Preferred qualifications: *
Coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Mathematics or
Economics). * Thorough knowledge of finance and accounting. *
Excellent multitasker with the ability to manage disparate projects
at the same time and see the big picture. * Exceptional analytical
skills including a high proficiency with spreadsheets and modeling.

investing. About the job The Investor Relations team is our company
spokesperson to the investor community. Together with your team,
you'll run the show whenever Google shares financial or other
related information with its shareholders and the financial
community. This includes regularly updating the public on Google's
performance as well as keeping internal stakeholders up to date on
the latest financial and industry trends. You'll strategically
position and market Google to its current and potential investors,
and address any shareholder concerns or competitor actions that
might impact Google. You have a way with words (and numbers) and
can support any communications, from founders' letters to talking
points for press conferences. The Investor Relations team
communicates the strategy and financial performance of Alphabet to
the investment community. The team runs the quarterly earnings call
process, and hosts meetings and events with sellside research
analysts and our shareholders. The name Google came from "googol,"
a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And
nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when
providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions
across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis
to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial
processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and
advisor to the business. Responsibilities * Develop knowledge of
Alphabet's business and products to assist in education of sellside
research analysts and institutional investors about the company. *
Assist in preparation of earnings-related materials for management.
* Monitor analyst reports and estimates of financial performance. *
Assist on investor engagement; help run investor events, including
preparing briefings for our executives and running on-the-ground
planning and operations. * Assist the team in various
cross-functional internal projects as needed.
