Under the direct supervision of the site Physician, provides health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Produces images of heart muscle and functioning by setting-up ultrasound equipment; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; operating and adjusting equipment; recording cardiac data and measurements; protecting and helping patients.Education:

• Completion of Cardiac Sonography Program - RequiredCertifications/Licensures:
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
  • ARDMS Preferred
    • CCI Preferred -Skills:
      • Must be able to type 60 WPM with minimum errors.
      • Proficient in adult Transthoracic, Transesophageal, Stress echocardiography, EKG and Holter monitor hook-up.
      • Familiarity with medical terminology.
      • Good organizational, grammatical and communication skills.
      • Ability to work with a variety of ultrasound equipment.Work Shift:08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$60.12 - $81.15HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
